Evaluation and Reflection

Production Week 1

Tuesday/ Wednesday preps and the Journey to Laurens

Above is our time table for the first week of production. As shown, we had collected the equipment on Tuesday and understood what costumes we would have for the following recording days. I took the equipment home to charge the batteries and review the equipment to make sure it is all compatible and how I can adapt the camera settings to my needs. On Wednesday morning I had collected the equipment needed for the day and went to a bus stop to get onto a 7 into town, this is so I could get to the bus stops in the town centre to meet up at the agreed location with Ray. The location we had agreed on was the number 20 stop as this was the bus we would take into Brean. From getting onto the 20, we had a 30 minute journey through the countryside to Brean's Village Hall. From the Village Hall stop we had met up with Lauren to take us to her house.

Problems during shoot

We had set up the table in Laurens house with party like items so that it seemed that a party had happened. This means that we had some pyramids of water cups which could be knocked over and would mean water would go everywhere. Knowing this we had accepted the possibility and continued with the shoot but someone (Ray) knocked the water over a few times. So after a couple re-shoots and cleaning breaks later we had finished the party scenes.

By Thursday we had traveled the Ray's place to record the bedroom and living room argument scenes which we decided to re-shoot a few times to experiment with different angles and ideas. By the end of the day we had collected a range of footage with a selection of angles and types of shoots.

Production Week 2

Above is the time table for the second week of production. Once again I had collected the equipment on Tuesday and experimented with the camera settings as I had a different camera this time around.
